Emissivity

Emissivity correction is a standard feature.  Allows compensation for different target materials to read true temperature.

Peak Picker

Peak Picker capability with adjustable decay rate.  Useful in applications where the target is sometimes obscured due to smoke or other intermittent conditions such as objects on a conveyor belt or indexing machine.

Download any sensor curve.  Standard curves include thermocouples and all IRt/c's.  Uses the Windows interface and an RS-232 connection.  Provides flexibility if your application changes in the future.

Extended Range

The ST-5000 is microprocessor based and linearizes the IRt/c signal.  This greatly extends the useful operating range. For example, using a single sensor, the user can cover a temperature range of 0-1,400°F without sacrificing accuracy. The output can be easily scaled to any span within the overall range of the sensor.

Using the Windows interface, the ST-5000 can easily be set for either °F or °C operation.
